Overview;

 Imran Ahmed khan Niazi is the biggest cricketer of this generation, Pakistani's greatest superstar, and the world's only prime minister who has also won a world cup but Imran doesn't lack in the controversial department either playboy, a womanizer, and after entering politics, he has decorated with all sort of allegations. some said he is a bookie, and some said he was a cocaine addict.

Imran had a dream childhood, the only brother of four sister's wealthy family, with lots of cousins, and lots of playing around along with a quality education Imran khan was born into a proud family. his family had wealth and history to be proud of imran's fourth grandfather was habitat khan Niaz. He was a general in Shahin Shah sori's army. who conquered Sindh, Punjab, and Kashmir. but Imran khan does not become a military general. because Imran khan was more influenced by his maternal family. imran's two maternal cousins (Javed Burki & Majid Khan) have captained Pakistan cricket. that's how Imran developed an interest in cricket.

Start of the Journey;

In childhood, Imran khan cricketer had only one hobby: kite flying. but Imran never bought a kite. he only used them to capture them. he kept this hobby until Basant (kite flying festival) got banned. it was a nice festival (Basant). Alas, we destroyed it. we'll talk about this in another blog. Imran's cricket career started at Aitchison College Lahore. this is the college of Lahore's elite and Imran found a place in his college's cricket team. Aitchison is the college where Malaysia and Indonesia's princes came to study. this is where Imran khan's cricket started, Imran khan's cricket journey was starting. and also his character started to develop. and from Aitchison, he went to Oxford University. Oxford is the place where imran's record streak started. he didn't only rise up to being Oxford's captain. he became the first non-English Oxford captain even though Imran could have easily gotten a place in England's national team and he was seriously considering it. but his cousin Majid Khan convinced him that he can serve Pakistan in a much bigger way compared to England. and finally, on 3 June 1971, Imran khan cricketer made his debut in Pakistan in Birmingham. and what a terrible debut it was, he only mustered five runs before getting run out. and bowled 28 overs but could not get a single wicket. in fact, Imran got his first wicket in 1974, by this time, seemed a pretty ordinary player who could be kicked out of the team any time and will be forgotten easily. but Imran had other plans.

Rise to Fame;

Imran khan used to bowl medium-pace. but his attitude was of an extremely fast bowler. that's why he wasn't being truly successful. then Imran khan started to focus on bowling fast, seriously fast. for this, he started rigorous training, made fitness his obsession, and set his diet accordingly. hid effort finally paid off in 1977. Pakistan was playing against Australia, the team had already lost in Melbourne and Sydney was the next challenge.

Pakistan's cornered tiger woke up and Imran bagged a 10-wicket haul for the first time, and Pakistan defeated Australia in Australia. this match had a lot of crazy moments. this is the match of that era when there were no helmets and no neutral umpires. (partial umpires partial decisions). so what happened was that when Pakistan was batting, Australian fast bowler Dennis Lillee kept bowling bouncers to Pakistani batsman and the whole crowd was screaming "Lillee, Lillee kill! kill!". 

when Imran started to bowl Similar bouncers to Australia, the home umpire didn't like it. and told Pakistani skipper Mushtaq Muhammad to control Imran or he shall remove him from bowling. Mushtaq did tell initially tell Imran khan not to bowl bouncers (and that made Imran quite angry). but when Imran khan reached his bowling mark Mushtaq ran up to him and said: "hit the fast between the eyes"

World Champs!;

After the Sydney test, there was no stopping Imran khan or the Pakistan cricket team, Imran was soon made captain and kept bagging one series after one another. with Javed Miandad's sixer, an era started where Pakistan kept knocking India out of the gulf for nearly 10 years. Pakistan discovered players like Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Saeed Anwar, and Inzamam ul Haq. Pakistan became set to become the world's number-one cricket team. 1987's world  (the first world cup outside England) was coming up and the tournament was to be played in South Asia. Imran khan wanted to win this tournament and just retire, even though Imran khan was playing brilliantly at that time, Imran khan said retire at your peak. otherwise, you get kicked out. Pakistan lost in Lahore to Australia (eventual champion) in the semi-final and Imran khan took retirement after a ravishing career of 16 years. 

The Return of Kaptaan;

In 1987, Pakistan's president was general Zia ul Haq. he was a major cricket fanatic. Imran took retirement but Pakistan's next series was against west Indies back then, the mighty West Indies were just a nightmare for any opponent, the world's most fearsome bowler, and the world's most charismatic batsman. General Zia ul Haq requested Imran khan to come back into the team otherwise Pak team will get hammered. Imran obliged, and the series took place and was tied. Imran khan named ma of the series. but now, Imran's dream was not just to play cricket.

Imran the Philanthropist;

Imran khan's mother was diagnosed with cancer and Imran was very close to his mother (Imran's life changed forever). when Imran khan got to know how difficult it is to battle cancer, how much care is required, and how expensive is the treatment. and then he thought about the poor people of his country (Pakistan). 

How would a poor man battle cancer?

The philanthropist awakes: 

This was the moment when he decided to earn money from cricket and build a cancer hospital with it. in the twilight year of his career, Imran's whole focus was on earning money. he worked in Pepsi commercials, played as many matches as he could, commentated, and wrote columns. basically, did everything he could to earn an extra buck.

The controversial khan;

At that time of earning money, the first allegation comes. betting and gambling. Even though this allegation was never confirmed, it is said Imran used to bet on his team's win (batting on your own win). means he used to bet that Pakistan will win the match and then used to give 101% to win the match, Pakistan used to win and Imran got money.

The second and most famous allegation is of being a playboy, the heartthrob captained and ruled the hearts of millions of girls. On the one side, Imran khan young was one of the best cricket players. on the other hand, he was one of the most good-looking players. many affairs are famous with young Imran khan's young name. the affair with Zeenat Aman was the most famous one. Zeenat Aman is an Indian actress known for being bold. Zeenat started doing loads of things that made everyone feel that Imran is having an affair with her. sometimes, if Imran khan young was playing in India, Zeenat used to book a room in the same hotel as Imran. she even said that a fortune-teller has told me that her husband's name begins with "I"(I for Imran). Obviously, film magazines and newspapers hyped this non-affair to the limit.

However, Imran khan young never seemed much interested in Zeenat's approaches. but here comes "Sita whits case"

Sita White;

The darkest chapter of young imran's life is Sita White's case. Imran spent a big part of his life in England. this is where he met the socialite Sita White. she claimed that Imran khan was her boyfriend, and Sita wanted to carry Imran's child. she claims that Imran is the father of her daughter of her "Tyrian". Obviously, Imran khan denies it.

Imran the Nationalist;

Whenever we talk to the man about his youth, he never claims that he was a pious person. he clearly says that back then he didn't have "Iman" and I had a lot of faults in me. but, after retirement, I got time and started studying Allama Iqbal. That's where his life took a big turn. Imran connected with his culture and his legacy. he started wearing the national dress everywhere and started speaking Urdu (language). and become punctual in offering prayers. basically, he becomes a proper Pakistani Muslim. his wife Jemima also adjusted herself in Pakistan. she became a proper Pakistani woman and  started to help Imran in building Shoukat Khanum Memorial Hospital in Lahore

Imran the Politician;

Initially, Imran had no plans of joining politics. but after getting depressed with traditional politicians, in 1996 he finally made a political party of his own Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI). initially, it was called a tanga (horse carriage) party. because the party had very few members and all of them could fit a single Tanga. But it was a political party nonetheless. and suddenly, the man who was a national hero until just a few days ago became a political competitor. and he was immediately bombarded with allegations such as Jewish agent, Bookie, cocaine addict, etc. these are the allegations that we can talk say here and many other allegations absolutely cannot be said openly. Imran khan wife  Jemima also took the brunt. she was alleged of smuggling and faking practicing a religion. imran's wife Jemima got so annoyed that she demanded Imran either come to England or divorce. but Imran said I'm not going to leave Pakistan.

Imran is an outrageously stubborn guy perhaps that's the reason he alone stood against all other politicians alone. Got divorced but continued the struggle, went to TV shows, gave speeches, and wrote columns and books for 16 years, no one batted an eye but then on 30 October 2011, in the shadow of Minar-e-Pakistan, everything changed!

Imran Prime Minister;

That was the day when Lahore endorsed Imran Khan as a national leader. on that day, it became clear that Imran khan will become Prime minister at least once. many people thought that the time was quite near. but it didn't happen. a lot happened (before Imran won the general elections) he fell from the stage. Elections 2013 took place, Sikandar stormed into Islamabad, Gullu Butt rose to fame, Army Public School (APS) massacre took place, and General Raheel launched Zarb-e-azb!

Imran got married to Reham khan. Panama papers were released got divorced from Reham Khan and Pakistan won the Champions trophy. Nawaz Shareef was disqualified. Then Reham Khan's book was released, and Nawaz Shareef was jailed.

In the Election of 2018, Imran formed the two-third majority government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and with a slight majority in Punjab and the Federal.
